Dr Craig Bridges BDS, MGDSRCPS (Glasg), MGDSRCS(Ed) DDSc (Orthodontics) Specialist in Orthodontics, GDC No: 48045
 
  Craig graduated from Glasgow University in 1974, and spent some time in the US carrying out orthodontic and general dental treatments. On his return to the UK, he attained the MGDS from the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh in 1983, and from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow the following year. He is retained as an examiner for the MGDS by the RCS(Ed).

Craig is married to Ann, a dental hygienist, and has five children. He has a keen interest in teaching martial arts and is a 5th Dan black belt instructor in Aikido.

Allied to his orthodontic career, Craig has an interest in biometric science, which is the measurement of function in relation to the interconnecting mechanisms of human postural condition. This interest was engendered in common with his son who studied for a masters degree in Osteopathy researching into lower back pain, gait, posture, occlusion (the way that teeth meet) and how they inter-relate.

  Veronica qualified in Dentistry, and then obtained her Masters degree from the University of Valencia. She studied Orthodontics at the University of Seville and was awarded her diploma in Orthodontics there. Presently she is studying for an MSc in Orthodontics at Warwick University.

Veronica moved to Gloucestershire in 2006 to join her fiancee, Jorge, who is an engineer at Dowty's. Away from Dentistry her hobbies include reading, cycling, gymnastics and swimming.
     
Dr Alun Rees BDS GDC No 52067
 
  Alun qualified in Dentistry at the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne. His clinical career took him through spells in hospital dentistry and general practice before establishing the award winning Practice in Abbeymead in 1988. He made the decision to move away from clinical work and sold his practice in 2005. Following retraining as a Business Coach he established Dental Business Partners, a coaching and training consultancy, and now concentrates on helping other practices with the 'non-clinical' elements of their businesses. www.dentalbusinesspartners.co.uk.
